Guardrail Reference

Use the Notion page Content-/Claim-Guardrails when a location label or public location page could affect clinic discovery, filters, or public wording.

  • Stop: Do not use location labels to imply safest, best, top-ranked, medically recommended, or hidden sponsored locations.
  • Confirm: Any wording that suggests verified locations, quality ranking, transparent pricing, or preferred clinic discovery needs documented proof and owner approval.
  • Safe: Neutral country and city names are okay when they match approved master data and do not add private notes or ranking meaning.

Goal

You create and update the country and city records that are used for clinic addresses, public filters, pricing, maps, and distance checks.

Before You Start

  • You have Platform Staff access in the CMS.
  • You work in the CMS under /admin.
  • The Countries and Cities lists and create forms were checked in Preview Admin with a Platform Staff session.
  • The example values in the screenshots were not saved.
  • Create or check the country before you create a city.
  • Use approved master data. Check country names, two-letter country codes, currency codes, airport codes, and coordinates before you save.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Open /admin/login and sign in with your staff account.

  2. In the CMS left menu, open Location Data.

  3. Open Countries.

  4. Click Create New.

  5. Fill the country fields: Name, Iso Code, Language, and Currency. Safe: Use official master data only. Do not add promotional, ranking, or internal notes to public country fields.

  6. Click Save. The country can now be selected when you create or edit a city.

  7. Go back to Location Data.

  8. Open Cities.

  9. Click Create New.

  10. Fill Name. Safe: Use the plain city name. Do not add clinic-quality, safety, pricing, or recommendation wording to the location name.

  11. Fill Airportcode only when the city has a known IATA airport code that should be stored. Leave it empty if the data owner has not confirmed a code.

  12. Fill Coordinates - Longitude and Coordinates - Latitude. Check both values before you save.

  13. In Country, select the saved country that the city belongs to.

  14. Click Save. The city can now be selected in clinic address fields.

  15. To edit a country or city, open the record from the Countries or Cities list, change the field, and click Save.

  16. Delete a country or city only when you have confirmed that no clinic, search filter, or public page still needs it. If the record is a duplicate, check which record is used before you delete anything. Confirm: Deletion can change public filters and clinic discovery. Ask the data owner before deleting records that may still be used.

Compliance Notes

  • Countries and Cities are public master data. Do not enter private notes, patient data, staff details, emails, phone numbers, or internal comments in these records.
  • A country or city change can affect public clinic pages, listing filters, address display, maps, pricing context, and distance checks.
  • For a typo, update the existing record when it is safe. Do not create a duplicate unless the data owner confirms that both records are needed.
  • Before deletion, ask the responsible owner to confirm that the record is not used by a clinic or public workflow.

Success Check

The task is complete when the country appears in Countries, the city appears in Cities, and the city record has the correct Country selected. If you changed or deleted existing data, check one affected clinic or public filter before you close the task.
